“My favorite band memory was my last time conducting my high school marching band. Our finale was “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me” by Elton John, and we ended with an epic company front with the entire band blasting the ballad. I don’t think I could’ve asked for a more fitting song to end my high school marching career with. It filled me with both pride and tears.”

“My favorite band memory was coming out of the tunnel for the first time, playing the Go Gators call, and being shocked speechless when thousands of fans screamed back in response. I was so used to the silence at practice that the force of the fans in the stadium truly impacted me. I’ve been coming to the Swamp since I was born, but actually playing on the field was unbelievable.”
